Requirements:

  • Academic BackgroundUniversity degree in related areas.
  • ExperienceProven in supercomputing and server management environments.
  • Technical KnowledgeFamiliarization with compilers (gcc, intel, portland), mathematical libraries (MKL, FFTW3, LAPACK, BLAS), and chemical calculation applications (VASP, Gaussian, Molcas, Siesta, Gamess, ATK, ADF).
  • Additional SkillsKnowledge in MySQL, ganglia services, icinga, IPTABLES, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS). Experience in virtualization (Xen, Virtual Box) and application parallelization (openmpi, mpich).

Functions:

  • Management and MaintenanceSupercomputing: Administer servers and services, perform maintenance and troubleshooting of supercomputing equipment.
  • Innovation and ImprovementCollaborate in the implementation of innovations and improvements in service, equipment and infrastructure.
  • Support and CoordinationAdvise on the acquisition of scientific and technical equipment, coordinate the installation and maintenance of computer applications, and manage calls for public bids.
